Prayer and Liturgy
Prayer & Liturgy
Prayer and Liturgy are embedded in the school culture and ethos.
Every lesson begins with a prayer. Each day at twelve noon the ‘Angelus’ is recited followed by a prayer before meal. At 2pm we have ‘A moment for Jesus’ in the Chapel, led by students, which is open for all to attend.
We celebrate Holy Days of Obligation with a whole school mass and have welcome masses each year for each year group, as well as celebration masses for pupils moving from Year 11 to 6th form, and a farewell mass for those moving from Year 13 to the next stage of their lives.
Our Prayer and Liturgy Policy can be viewed below.
