Stars of the Globe
As a result of winning the Curtain Raiser Competition, sponsored by Deutsche Bank, pupils in Year 9 had the opportunity to perform on the stage at Shakespeare's Globe.
After seeing the matinee of Romeo and Juliet with the rest of their year group, the pupils took to the stage to perform the Prologue before the evening performance, to an audience of 1,500.
Lucy Cuthbertson director of Education said " it was a bold production that commanded the Globe stage. Congratulations!"
